Francesco Virdis (born 16 January 1985 in Ozieri) is an Italian footballer. He currently plays for Pomezia in Italy's fourth tier, the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, on loan from Serie A side, Sampdoria.[1]
Virdis started his career at Sampdoria before being loaned to a whole host of Italian lower league clubs, the most recent of which, Pomezia, he joined on 3 January 2011.[1]
